About the GO Network

Learn more about our mission, values, and the programs that strengthen Young Life areas.

The Greater Opportunity (GO) Network is a national (for the US Field) collective of people, programs, and financial resources designed to help increase the holistic health of YL areas that are typically under-served by the most common YL support frameworks.

Ultimately, the GO Network aspires to flourish as an internal center of excellence that propels the Young Life mission of introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith.

Who We Are

Through a network of people, programs, and financial resources, the GO Network exists to equip staff, empower local communities, and grow healthy, sustainable ministry.

What We Do

The GO Network provides a holistic framework designed to help Young Life areas thrive in both ministry impact and financial health. Our approach is built on three key commitments:

Assess

We listen first. Every participating area completes an assessment, and follow-up conversations with the GO team to identify unique strengths and opportunities.

Invest

Based on that assessment, we deploy tailored resources: coaching, mentoring, training, financial support, and affiliated programs.

Advance

We walk alongside staff and supervisors, measuring progress, providing encouragement, and celebrating growth milestones.

Why It Matters

We believe that where there is great need, there is even greater opportunity to build sustainable ministry and financial health, all for Jesus and kids. This will take time, intentionality and hard work. However, we trust that when areas complete the GO Network, staff will experience a combination of the following:

Staff will feel more fully supported by mission leadership

Area finances will be measurably healthier

Ministry with kids and volunteer leaders will increase

More adults (community stakeholders) will partner with area staff

Staff will feel empowered to stay in this mission long-term

Our Values
